Changing Order Form
Settings
Zednet's groundbreaking 'eShowcase' software makes it easy for you to change
the look and feel of your Zednet site. One way this is accomplished is by
using the Change Settings option from the Admin Menu.
When you select Change eShowcase Parameters, you will see a screen like
this:

By changing the eShowcase settings, you can control how your Zednet site
looks and responds.
eShowcase Order Form Settings
This is a complete description of each of the settings and how they can be
used.
Before making changes to any of these settings, it
is always a good idea to print the order form settings pages from within your
browser so you have a record of what the settings were before you changed
them.
- Mail Order To - Enter the email address of who you want orders
from your site to be emailed to. Usually your own email address
- Subject Line of email orders sent to you - when an email order
is sent to the above address, what do you want the subject line to be?
Enter it here. (Usually something like 'Order'.)
- Subject Line of email order confirmation sent to Customer -
When a customer places and order with you, a 'thank you' email with order
details will be sent to them. The subject line of that email can be set
here. Usually something like ' Thank You for Your Order'.
- Currency Symbol - Enter currency symbol you want used on your
order form. Should be the same as any used in prices entered for
products.
- State Abbreviation - For US users, enter the abbreviation of the
state you wish to charge sales tax when it matches state on customers
order . Leave this field blank if you don't charge state sales tax.
- State Tax Rate - Tax rate for in-state sales. If entered it
should be in decimal format. i.e. - .075 would be entered if tax rate is 7.5%.
- VAT Country - Enter name of country where VAT applies.
(Whatever you enter here will become the default country name that
appears on order form.) Leave blank if VAT doesn't apply.
- VAT Tax Rate - Tax rate for in-country sales. If entered, must
be a decimal number. i.e. .175 would be entered if tax rate is 17.5%.
- Ship Description 1 - You can define up to five different
shipping/postage options. Give a description for option 1 here, and then
enter the amount to be charged for that option below.
- Ship Charge 1 - Enter amount you charge for Ship Description 1 here.
i.e. - 12.00
- Ship Description 2 - You can define up to five different shipping
options. Give a description for option 2 here, and then enter the amount
to be charged for that option below
- Ship Charge 2 - Enter amount you charge for Ship Description # 2.
- Ship Description 3 - You can define up to five different shipping
options. Give a description for option 3 here, and then enter the amount
to be charged for that option below
- Ship Charge 3 - Enter amount you charge for Ship Description # 3.
- Ship Description 4 - You can define up to five different shipping
options. Give a description for option 4 here, and then enter the amount
to be charged for that option below
- Ship Charge 4 - Enter amount you charge for Ship Description # 4.
- Ship Description 5 - You can define up to five different shipping
options. Give a description for option 5 here, and then enter the amount
to be charged for that option below
- Ship Charge 5 - Enter amount you charge for Ship Description # 5.
- Require Shipping Preference? - Do you require the customer to
designate a shipping preference? Yes or No.
- Accept Master Card? - Do you accept Master Card? Yes or No.
- Accept Visa? - Do you accept Visa? Yes or No.
- Accept American Express? - Do you accept American Express? Yes
or No.
- Accept Discover? - Do you accept Discover Card? Yes or No.
- Accept Other? - Do you accept other payment method? Yes or No.
- Name of 'Other' Payment Method? - if other payment method is set to
'yes', enter here how you want it to appear on order form. i.e. - COD.
- Customer Name Required? - do you require customer name filled in on
order?

- State Name Required? - Do you require State (County for UK) filled
in on order form? Yes or No.
- Postal Code Required ?- Do you require Postal Code to be filled in
on order form?

- Credit Card Type Required? - Do you require Credit Card Type to be
filled in or order form? Yes or No.
- Credit Card # Required? - Do you require credit card number to be
filled in on order form? Yes or No.
- Credit Card Expiry Date Required? - Do you require credit card
expire date filled in on order form? Yes or No.
- Customer Email Address Required? - Do you require customer email
address to be entered on order form? Yes or No.
- Customer Phone # Required? - Do you require customer
phone number to filled in on order form? Yes or No.
- Color of Order Form Panels - choose from Drop-down color selector,
color of panel to be used when building order form.
- Order Form Page Title - The Title of the Order form. Usually
'Secure Order Form', or 'xyz company Order Form'.
- Order Form Top Text Block : - This is the text block at the
top of the order form. You can set it to anything you choose. Default is:
''You will be provided an opportunity to preview and change your order before
it is processed. Once submitted, we will confirm your order via email. All
orders are normally shipped within 24 hours.

order to 01222 333 555 Or mail to Our Company, 123 Any Street, Town,
County, Post code.
International Orders - prices are the same as UK orders, but actual shipping
charges will apply.
- Order Confirm Message : This is the message that appears on the
screen after the order has been placed. The default message is: ''Your
order is being processed and a confirmation will be sent to you by email.'
- Customer Mail Message : This is the body text of the email
message sent to the customer thanking them for their order, and providing an
order summary. The default message is: ''Thanks for your recent order
from My Company at http://www.mycompany.co.uk
Orders are usually processed and
shipped within 24 hours. If we are out of stock we will send you an email reply
with the estimated time for shipment.

Applying Changes
To change any of the above parameters, enter the new information, or use the
drop down menus to select a valid entry. Then click the 'Change eShowcase
Order Form Settings' button.
Very Important!
Most Internet browsers 'cache' or store in memory Internet pages the first
time they are viewed. If they are viewed a second time, the pages are usually
shown as stored in memory, rather than as they exist on the web sites.
For this reason, after you make changes to the order form, when you view it,
you may not see those changes. If there is any doubt, press and hold the
shift button on your keyboard, and then click the 'refresh' or 'reload' button
on your browser. This will force a page reload.
